A Garda sergeant, who was arrested in connection with alleged Garda corruption in County Donegal, was released this afternoon. He was arrested last night, and questioned at Letterkenny Garda Station. The inquiry centres on allegations about arms-finds in Donegal. The Garda sergeant has been suspended from duty. He is the second member of the force to be suspended in an on-going investigation being conducted by Assistant Garda Commissioner, Kevin Carty.
