In Zimbabwe, white farmers warned that the refusal of black squatters to obey a court order to vacate hundreds of farms would plunge the nation into anarchy. The Zimbabwean High Court on Friday declared the occupations by black war veterans illegal. Judge Paddington Garwe said that if they did not move out from some 600 farms, police would evict them after 72 hours.
