Israeli planes have bombed several areas in Lebanon in retaliation for recent attacks by Hizbollah guerrillas on Israeli security forces in the region. Local reports say that areas surrounding the Israeli occupied South Lebanon were targeted. There were no reports of casualties. The attacks follow the bombing of an Israeli patrol in the east of the region, which left one Israeli officer seriously injured.
