About 500 people attended a march and rally in Central London this afternoon to commemorate the fourteen civilians who died in Derry on Bloody Sunday in 1972. They were addressed by Brendan MacCionnaith of the Garvaghy Road Coalition who said that revealing the truth about Bloody Sunday would help cement the peace process. A new inquiry into the events surrounding Bloody Sunday, chaired by Lord Saville, is due to open in Derry in March.
