LVF denies members murdered Richard Jameson

The Loyalist Volunteer Force has denied that any of its members had been responsible for the murder of Richard Jameson. In a statement released to news organisations in Belfast, the paramilitary group said speculation that he had been killed as a result of a feud between the UVF and LVF was wrong. Several people are still being questioned by the RUC about the murder. The 46-year-old father-of-three was shot dead outside his isolated Derrylettiff Road home five miles from Portadown, County Armagh on Monday. He is to be buried later tomorrow.
