Police continue investigation into Harrison knife attack

Police in Merseyside investigating this morning's stabbing attack on the former Beatle, George Harrison, have removed a substantial amount of material from the flat of the man arrested after the incident. The man has been named unofficially as Michael Abram, a former psychiatric patient. The 33-year-old Liverpudlian was arrested in Henley-on-Thames, where Mr Harrison lives. Mr Harrison is recovering in hospital from an inch deep stab wound he received when he grappled with an intruder inside his mansion; his condition is said to be comfortable. His wife, Olivia, was also hurt, but only slightly.
