Teenager found dead after German shooting spree

A 16 year-old boy, who went on a killing spree in Germany, has been found dead with his sister. Police stormed the house from which the boy killed at least two people and wounded six by firing indiscriminately at passers-by in the street. The incident took place at the tourist resort of Bad Reichenhall in the Bavarian Alps, near the Austrian border.

The youth had barricaded himself in an apartment block equipped with several weapons and a large supply of ammunition taken from his father. Police said he was shooting at anything that moved. The shooting began just after midday. But it took police several hours to recover the bodies of the dead and wounded.
