Serb riot police have baton charged anti-government protesters in the capital, Belgrade, for the second day running. Independent reports say that 10 people were injured as police first blocked the protest march from advancing towards the main federal government building, then pushed the protesters back across a bridge. The turnout at the start of the demonstration was reckoned to be about 30,000, substantially more than yesterday when similar incidents took place.
