Gardaí say that last nights drugs seizure in County Sligo was one of the biggest ever made outside of the major cities. Four people were arrested following the haul, which had a street value of half a million pounds.
Twenty kilos of cannabis and 20,000 ecstasy tablets were found during a raid on a house in Tubbercurry. The raid took place as part of an ongoing drugs operation in Sligo. Three men and one woman are being detained under section 2 of the Drugs Trafficking Act.
