Melchior Mule

Touch, toast, sip, savour and….enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 2 High Ball or Slim Jim glasses
  • Good amount of ice cubes
  • 4 shots of Green Saffron Lemon Ginger Cordial
  • 2 shots of your favourite vodka
  • Couple of dashes of pomegranate molasses
  • 600ml or 1 pt soda water
  • 2 sprigs fresh mint
  • 2 strips pared lime zest, flamed

Method

  • Drop a good handful of ice cubes into one of the glasses.
  • Add 2 shots of Green Saffron Lemon Ginger Cordial.
  • Pour in 1 shot of vodka and stir.
  • Add a dash of pomegranate molasses, stir again.
  • Then, top up with soda water.
  • Mix gently.
  • Flame, then gently squeeze a piece of lime zest into the glass, drop in and pop in a sprig of mint.
  • NB: You could crush the mint leaves a little to release more flavour if you'd like it a little more minty!
  • Now repeat for your guest, touch, toast, sip, savour and….enjoy! Sláinte!
