Being consciously coupled with Chris Martin - the ex-husband of Goop founder and wellness entrepreneur Gwyneth Paltrow - might make it easier for Dakota Johnson to sample the latest wellness trends, but the star has her own unique routines when it comes to self care.
The 50 Shades of Grey star shared an insight into her hard core wellness routine, detailing how she cares for her mind and body in an interview with The Wall Street Journal published this week.

Central to her wellness practice, she said, is sleep, which she calls her "number one priority in life". The star added that she gets at least 10 hours sleep a night, and can "easily" rack up to 14 hours in one snooze.
Explaining that she doesn't have a regular wake-up time, she said: "It depends on what's happening in my life. If I’m not working, if I have a day off on a Monday, then I will sleep as long as I can," she continued. "Sleep is my number one priority in life."
On the amount of sleep she gets, she noted that she is "not functional" if she gets less than 10 hours sleep per night.
Typically, it's recommended that adults get over seven hours sleep a night, with eight hours being the ideal amount, however, as the HSE notes, everyone will be different.
Another stalwart of her self care routine is baths. "I will get in a bathtub at any moment, any time of the day," she said. "If in the middle of the day, I'm like, 'Oh God, what is this world?’ I’ll get in the bathtub."

She explained: "I find water really grounding."
Johnson noted that she has struggled with anxiety over the years, and turns to meditation to help manage it, sometimes doing a meditation twice a day.
"I do transcendental meditation," she explained. "I've been really into breathwork recently and that’s been helping me a lot with anxiety."
As for her physical health, Johnson said she exercises five days a week, varying from hot yoga and Pilates to body weight training.
