Every day is a school day, so the saying goes, and it's especially true when trying to homeschool your children.
Since COVID-19 landed on Irish shores, the team at RTÉ's Home School Hub have worked tirelessly to provide fun and educational activities for kids of all ages, ranging from music lessons to science experiments, dance classes, art and crafts, and books and culture.
Last year, the nation's classroom had some exceptionally exciting guests including Oscar-winning director Lenny Abrahamson, architect Dermot Bannon, activist Sinéad Burke, and U2's Bono.
An Taoiseach Micheál Martin will be the first big guest to visit the Home School Hub in 2021. He will be dropping by this Thursday morning on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player to talk about his time growing up in Cork city, being a twin, being late for school, and how he lost his first front tooth playing rugby on his street.
He will also be discussing the importance of having good self-esteem and looking back at his own lack of confidence early in his career.
Of course, no trip to the HSH class room is complete without a chat with resident pooch Seamus. The two have some great chats about the Taoiseach's dog, Setanta.
Tune in to Home School Hub this Thursday morning at 10am on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player.
