ExWell Medical is an established chronic illness rehabilitation programme that has recently launched its home-based programme. Each week on RTÉ LifeStyle, the team are sharing a series of workouts that can be done at home - no gym equipment necessary.
In our video today, Sarah from ExWell Medical takes us through a fully chair-based workout. This session includes cardio exercises, strength and core work, plus some optional standing work to challenge your balance.

Seated exercises can be just as effective as those performed while standing, and are a great alternative for low-impact, enjoyable movement!
