As a people, we Irish aren't used to the heat. A day here, a weekend there - sure. But not since 1976 have we had to cope with such scorching weather.
The Summer wardrobe is being worn to work, we're running low on suncream and, already, we're beginning to reach peak ice-cream capacity.
