As Carrigstown is rocked by Karen’s murder, Sorcha Furlong, Victor Burke and Aisling O’Neill tell Janice Butler why their characters are all suspects! Get a sneak peek below.
In the fast-paced world of soapland there’s always some tragedy lurking around the next corner. Things take a dramatic twist in Fair City as troubled character Karen O’Neill is killed off in a classic ‘whodunnit’ murder mystery storyline.
Carol has been involved in a lot of big storylines in Fair City over the years, how does this one compare?
Aisling: "This one is particularly good because it’s such a good storyline and there are so many people involved; nearly all the community is somehow connected and also it’s the murder of a young girl so it’s pretty heavy and sad as well."
"There’s also the whodunnit nature to it which makes it even more exciting. None of the cast knows who it is,
so we’re all checking each other out."
