Kent State University students Josh Avsec and Michelle Arendas matched on Tinder almost three years ago and have kept up a hilarious string of conversation.
On the 20th of November, 2014 Michelle and Josh matched on the dating app and thus began their viral-worthy relationship.
Josh made the first move by messaging "Hey Michelle" but was left waiting until the 29th of November for the reply "Hey sorry my phone died".
And so, a legendary three-year conversation was born where the two would wait months on end to message each other with a funny excuse, ranging from "I've just had a really busy week" to "Hey, sorry was in the shower".
Four days ago, Ohio resident, Josh screenshot their conversation and posted it to his Twitter account, writing:
"Hahahaha one day I'm going to meet this girl and it's going to be epic. Look at the dates of our Tinder texts."

The Tweet has since been Re-Tweeted 11.5k times and 'liked' 41.9k times. But it doesn't end there.
Sensing a possible real-life match, Tinder stepped up their game and offered to send the two to the city of their choice for the most epic and romantic date possible.
"It's time you got together IRL. You have 24hrs to decide the city you want to have your first date in and we'll send you there!"

The couple chose to say aloha in Maui, Hawaii and Tinder have agreed to send them on their way, although, they did warn the students to pack their bags in a timely manner.
Looks like good things come to those who wait.
