Which home will be crowned as the overall winner of Home of the Year tonight on RTÉ One?

The final episode of Home of the Year will air on RTÉ One tonight at 8:30pm. Before we find out who is crowned winner by our judges, let us introduce you to the seven finalists and their homes.

Episode 1 Winners: Esther Gerrard and Ed Coveney bought the property from Esther’s brother in 2013 and transformed it from an eighteen bedroom B&B into three seperate apartments.

Episode 2 Winner: Alec Darragh lives in a contemporary end-of-terrace home in North Dublin. He chose a modern aesthetic while keeping the house functional to suit his lifestyle, which includes a passion for restoring racing bikes.

Delphine Geoghegan

Episode 3 Winners: Architects Philip and Delphine Geoghegan live in a 17th-century farmhouse originally built by Quakers. It is one of the few buildings of its kind that remain in this country

Episode 4 Winner: On a tight budget, Gitte Trench has completely transformed this 1980s bungalow. Using a dark colour pallet and atmospheric lighting throughout, Gitte has designed calm and peaceful spaces and a warm, welcoming and very stylish home.

Episode 5 Winners: Susan Gorman and Alan Ross spent eight long years transforming a 19th Century railway goods shed in County Wicklow into a liveable home.

Week 6 Winners: Ruth and Colin Donnelly live with their son Garron in this modern architectural home. After nine years of hard work, their home was finally complete with a curved roof, glass doors, a bright orange kitchen and stunning views.

Week 7 Winners: Louise McGuane and Dominic McCarthy split their time between living in London and an 18th Century cottage in west Clare that has been in Louise’s family for generations. High ceiling, enormous picture windows, a suspended fireplace and chic interior design makes this farmhouse utterly unique.
