Operation Transformation is on the telly this evening and it's going to be a much-talked about episode as Chris' impressive weight loss causes unexpected pain, Maireád's community help her get on track and Yvonne has an extra challenge.
OT leader Chris explains how his amazing 10.5lbs weight loss last week has caused an issue - naturally when he lost weight, he lost it all over. Now he's having trouble with the socket for his prosthesis which is causing him pain when he exercises, as it is not fitting as well as it originally did. The worry is whether it will affect his weight this eve?
See what happened when he headed to the experts at Cappagh Orthopaedic Hospital to ask if they could help:
Also on tonight's show, after a tough first weigh-in, Maireád Redmond's local community get behind her and organise a 5k run at Gusserane GAA club:
Did it work? Yeeesssshhhh! She lost an impressive 5lbs, as revealed on the Ray D'Arcy radio show on RTÉ Radio 1, beating her target by 2lbs.
OT leader Yvonne Keenan-Ross and her husband run Liberty café in Carlingford and now, they're opening a new business in Omeath. Its opening this week - not ideal when you're changing your whole lifestyle with the OT plan but life must go on!
Operation Transformation is on tonight, Wednesday at 8.30pm and again tomorrow, Thursday at 8.30pm on RTÉ One.
