Upcoming show Generation What? is based off a survey designed to develop a portrait of a whole generation.
And although host Eoghan McDermott is still working through the data, he has already come across some interesting finds.
"French people I would have considered very sexually liberated, and apparently us Irish with our little hangover Catholic guilt stuff, we are way more sexually liberal than French people. Which I thought was kind of interesting."
"There was a question of 'Would you go to war for your country, or for Europe?' And I thought that was interesting kind of in the context of what's happening now in terms of, 'If Isis was to mobilize a force and invade France, would Irish people step up as part of a wider [army], and the answer was no? Which I thought was interesting, and sad in a bit of a way."
"Maybe Europe isn't as cohesive as we might have thought?" Eoghan added.
When asked about his work on mental health and if more could be done to promote the issue, the 2fm presenter was very supportive of efforts already in motion.
"The infrastructure in place now for young Irish people for mental health support is actually pretty spectacular. There's really good outlets. I think what Bressie has done for Lust for Life is amazing, what Pieta House is continuing to do is amazing, Spun Out is amazing. There's all these different little faculties." he added.
"I think if it was under an umbrella group run by the government, that would be nice as opposed to just good people who are doing it because the government just aren't." he concluded.
Eoghan McDermott and Jenny Greene will front RTÉ2's live coverage of Electric Picnic with performances from the Main Stage, Other Voices and Electric Ireland's Throwback Party. For more info click here.
