Speaking to RTÉ LifeStyle, the Prime Time presenter revealed how she keeps in shape: "Have a lot of kids and run up and down the stairs in the house, clean the bathrooms, clean the toilet, go to the shops, do the shopping, put the bins out, yep, that’s my physique [maintenance] tips!"

"I’m pretty bad at going to the gym," she added, "but I always think focus on the best things in your body and I’ve got good arms and I’ve a pair of dumbbells in my bedroom and I do them most days.

"Now they’re a pretty pathetic weight. They’re only three kilograms but they’re great and they keep my arms in shape and my legs in shape.”

I tell you what, if its good enough for Miriam, its good enough for us!
