Three very different homes competed to be this week’s winner of Home of the Year but as always, there could only be one winner and the winning home belongs to...
Denise and Stephen Walsh. A wee reminder – they’re the couple who live in the modernist inspired home in County Tipperary with their two children Bess and Lily. She is a bespoke furniture designer and owns and runs her own company ‘Donovan Walsh Design’ (www.donovanwalshdesign.com) and he works in IT. Their home won the RIAI’s best house award in 2015.
We’re half way through the current series of Home of the Year and judges Declan O’Donnell, Hugh Wallace and Deirdre Whelan decided on Deirdre and Stephen’s home over the renovated redbrick townhouse and the traditional thatched house.
And here it is, their winning choice....
