€1 million re-paid to drivers for wrongful motoring convictions.
Gardai say €1 million has now been re-paid to motorists for wrongful convictions for motoring offences. They have also received 119 solicitors' letters about loss of licenses, livelihoods and liberty on behalf of drivers affected.
