Greta Gerwig's Barbie is fast becoming the most hotly-anticipated movie of the year thanks to a mastermind of a marketing campaign.

Dropping in Ireland on July 21, fans have already enjoyed an impeccable Vogue cover shoot, an iconic Architectural Digest tour through Barbie's Dreamhouse, deep-dive interviews exploring Ryan Gosling's 'Ken-ergy', and a viral-worthy campaign celebrating the film's many celebrity cameos.
On top of that, actress Margot Robbie and stylist Andrew Mukamal pulled off a pitch-perfect press tour, dressing the actress in a designer wardrobe inspired by the Mattel doll.

For the World Premiere, which took place at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles, California, Robbie ditched the familiar pink colour palette for a glittering black gown and matching black gloves.
Custom-made by Schiaparelli Haute Couture, the bustier dress was fully embroidered with sequins and featured multiple layers of pale pink tulle as well as a single hand-painted embroidered red rose.
Styled once again by Andrew Mukamal, Robbie dressed as 'Solo in the Spotlight' Barbie of 1960, pairing the strapless number with a pair of black peep-toe heels from Manolo Blahnik, a Lorraine Schwartz crystal choker, and a pink chiffon scarf.

Ryan Gosling, America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, Dua Lipa, Nicki Minaj, and Dove Cameron were also spotted on the pink carpet wearing an array of Barbie-appropriate designs.
