Hosted for the second consecutive year by comedian and talk show host Trevor Noah, the 64th annual Grammy Awards is set to take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena tonight, Sunday, April 3, 2022.
Billed as "music's biggest night", the star-studded ceremony will take place in Las Vegas for the first time, with organisers having postponed the original January 31 date and left the city of Los Angeles due to a surge in Covid-19 cases.
Speaking on the move, Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr said: "We are excited to take the Grammys to Las Vegas for the very first time, and to put on a world-class show. From the moment we announced the postponement of the original show date, we have been inundated with heartfelt messages of support and solidarity from the artist community."
Honoring some the music industry's longest-standing talent and celebrating some of the most exciting up-and-coming stars, this year's gala has an esteemed lineup of nominees including Megan Thee Stallion, Justin Bieber, Jon Batiste, Joni Mitchell, Questlove, Doja Cat, H.E.R, Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett.
In terms of style, the Grammys red carpet is always a feast for the eyes with some of the world's biggest stars bringing both their stage presence and flair for jaw-dropping costumes to the forefront, whether they be pop starlets or hip hop legends.
