Under the theme of In America: A Lexicon Of Fashion, the 2021 Met Gala showcased some incredible red carpet looks. From Emily Blunt and Billie Eilish's old Hollywood glamour to Rihanna and Kim Kardashian's full-body Balenciaga looks, it was undoubtedly a red carpet to remember.
Following the the Costume Institute's 75th anniversary, held in the Metropolitan Museum of New York, the star-studded guests made some quick changes before dancing the night away at some high-profile after parties.
One such person was Glamour editor-in-chief, Samantha Barry. Styled by artist Shibon Kennedy, the Cork woman wore a black and white, sculpted neck and peplum gown from designer Christian Siriano to the main event.
She accessorised with red nail polish and jewellery from David Yurman, Scosha, and Foundrae.
With the assistance of her glam squad - MUA Tegan Rice and hair stylist Mia Santiag - the editor-in-chief completed her first look of the night with a dramatically lined smokey eye and sleek ponytail.

Following the event, Barry (literally) let her hair down for an after party at the Boom Boom Room in the Meatpacking district of Manhattan.
Her second look of the evening was vintage Bill Blass, and featured a beautiful jewel-toned, peplum top and a thigh-splitting black skirt.
Her gold jewellery set off the top's embellishments nicely, and her soft curls gave the look a touch of old Hollywood glamour. Very on theme for the night.
