It has been an incredibly long and busy awards season for Saoirse who is nominated for her third Oscar nomination for Lady Bird. The awards will take place on Sunday March 4 and we'll be bringing you all the updates and red carpet fashion news on the night. Here's a look at some of her stand-out red carpet fashion moments.

Meanwhile, Saoirse was winning on the red carpet last night in her Chanel gown which is from the pre-autumn 2018 collection. When you describe the dress, it sounds like it has a lot going on - beginning with the high neck, sequined paneling, feather fringe detail, sheer full-length skirt and yet it works, wonderfully.

An oversized cocktail ring completes the look, Jimmy Choo shoes and bag, along with those Cartier jewel-encrusted drop earrings.

Caitriona Balfe is also making fashion headlines today due to her beautiful dress from The Row.
