The 75th Annual Golden Globe Awards was the first time that Hollywood’s anti-sexual harassment movement, known as Time’s Up, held a 'black dress protest'.

Since then, our own Deirdre O'Kane has show solidarity by wearing black in her role as host at the Irish Film and Television Awards.

Now it appears that the movement has reached British shores as a multitude of stars, including our own Saoirse Ronan and Caitriona Balfe, joined the protest at last night's BAFTAs.

Actress and activist Emma Watson took to Twitter and Instagram to officially announce the move from America to the U.K.
