Last week, TIME Magazine dropped it's famous 100 Most Influential People List that includes figures who have an impact on the world of today, and actress Margot Robbie was amongst them, alongside Conor McGregor, Viola Davis, John Legend, James Corden or Barry Jenkins.
For each person on the list, the magazine published a short article written by a well-known figure. For the Aussie actress, it was none other than genius director Martin Scorsese. Strangers they ain't - she starred in his film The Wolf of Wall Street alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in 2013. What does he think of her?
Like no one else—that's what Margot Robbie's like.
The director added a brilliant, brave and funny anecdote:
Margot has all this in addition to a unique audacity that surprises and challenges and just burns like a brand into every character she plays.
She clinched her part in The Wolf of Wall Street during our first meeting — by hauling off and giving Leonardo DiCaprio a thunderclap of a slap on the face, an improvisation that stunned us all.
The twenty-six-year-old has a lot of exciting upcoming projects including Goodbye Christopher Robin with Irish actor Domnhall Gleeson. Everything seems to smiles upon Robbie who is happily married since the end of last year!
