Robert Pattinson continues a remarkable run of films with The Lighthouse, a metaphysical Mutt and Jeff from The Witch director Robert Eggers.

Part-black comedy, part-chiller, The Lighthouse sees Willem Dafoe's old man of the sea and Pattinson's hapless rookie facing the longest four weeks in employment history off the coast of 19th-Century New England.

Here, Pattinson tells Harry Guerin about why he wanted to make the film, working with Dafoe and more.
