'Sigh for me, Stockholm!'

It sounds like Norwegian singer Ane Brun has joined a very exclusive club: the one for artists whose must-have record turns out to be a live album.

This gem, recorded with the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra under conductor Hans Ek, is quite the 'Greatest Hits' and sparkles without giving the sense that the polish was piled on after the shows.

As expected, Brun's new stage-mates dial up the drama - Ek works extensively on soundtracks - on her torch songs, with covers of Beyoncé (Halo), Björk (Joga) and even Shakespeare (Sonnet 138: When My Love Swears She is Full of Truth) adding to the enchantment - and envy.

A reunion in the studio would be no bad thing. With nights closing in, you're in the best of good company here.
