Disney+ has announced the full cast for its forthcoming Star Wars spin-off series The Acolyte.

Joining the previously announced Amandla Stenberg (The Hate U Give) are Squid Game's Lee Jung-jae, Nine Perfect Strangers' Manny Jacinto, Logan's Dafne Keen and Queen & Slim's Jodie Turner-Smith.

Also on board are Inventing Anna's Rebecca Henderson, Russian Doll's Charlie Barnett, 1917's Dean-Charles Chapman and The Matrix star Carrie-Anne Moss.

Teeing up what's ahead, Disney+ said: "The Acolyte is a mystery-thriller that will take viewers into a galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging dark-side powers in the final days of the High Republic era.

"A former Padawan reunites with her Jedi Master to investigate a series of crimes, but the forces they confront are more sinister than they ever anticipated."

The Acolyte sees Russian Doll director and co-creator Leslye Headland as creator, showrunner and executive producer. She will also direct the opening episode.

Production on The Acolyte is under way in the UK. A premiere date has yet to be announced.
