Jessica Springsteen, the daughter of Bruce Springsteen and wife Patti Scialfa, has won a silver medal on her Olympic Games showjumping debut as the United States finished second behind Sweden in the team competition.
Sweden's Peder Fredricson, Malin Baryard-Johnsson and Henrik von Eckermann won the Olympic gold after a thrilling jump-off that left the US team with silver on Saturday.

Springsteen, alongside 2008 team gold medallists Laura Kraut and McLain Ward, jumped a clear round in the fight for the top spot, as did every rider in the jump-off.
Sweden won the title on time to end their gold drought that has lasted since 1924.

Belgium's Pieter Devos, Jerome Guery and Gregory Wathelet took home the bronze medal.
Jessica Springsteen previously told People.com: "I started riding when I was really little. My mom had always wanted to ride, so when we moved to New Jersey she started taking lessons.

"Our home is right across the road from one of the top junior training barns - and I went right into that when I was a teenager.
"I started competing and doing the jumpers, then I turned professional. It all really happened pretty naturally."
