Matt Damon back in Irish cinemas in August with Stillwater

Following his Dublin adventures last year, Matt Damon will be back in Irish cinemas in August with the Marseille-set thriller Stillwater.

Directed and co-written by Spotlight Oscar winner Tom McCarthy, Stillwater tells the story of Bill (Damon), an oil-rig worker who travels from Oklahoma to Marseille in a bid to clear the name of his estranged daughter Allison (Abigail Breslin) - imprisoned for a murder she says she did not commit.

Stillwater is released in cinemas on 6 August.
