Friends actor Matthew Perry and his fiancée, literary manager Molly Hurwitz, have reportedly parted ways.
US publication People has reported that Perry called off his engagement to Hurwitz.
He said in a statement to the magazine: "Sometimes things just don't work out and this is one of them.
"I wish Molly the best."
Perry, 51, and Hurwitz, 29 began dating in 2018 and got engaged in November 2020.
He told People at the time: "I decided to get engaged. Luckily, I happened to be dating the greatest woman on the face of the planet at this time."
The actor hadn't shared any photos of Hurwitz on social media until December 2020 when he posted two photos of her wearing his limited-edition apparel collection inspired by Friends to support Covid-19 relief.
"You don't have to pose this way while wearing the shirt, but please feel free," he captioned one image.
News of the break-up comes days after the release of Friends: The Reunion, which saw Perry reunite with his former co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer to reminisce on the hit sitcom.
The reunion was widely praised by critics and fans alike, however some viewers voiced concern about Perry's health on social media after the special aired.
The Friends reunion director Ben Winston has since defended Perry, saying "people can sometimes just be unkind".
