Donald Trump's former lawyer Rudy Giuliani has won two awards at the Razzies, the annual parody ceremony which dishonour the worst movies and screen performances of the year.
Giuliani won the gongs for Worst Supporting Actor in Borat Subsequent Moviefilm as well as Worst Screen Combo: Rudy Giuliani and His Pant’s Zipper in the movie.
Now in its 41st year, the Golden Raspberry Awards are held on the day before the Oscars and this year enigmatic singer Sia was the other big winner for her universally panned movie Music, which won worst director (Sia), worst actress (Kate Hudson) and worst supporting actress (Renee Ziegler).
Sia’s film sparked a backlash earlier this year for its depiction of autism and its casting of neurotypical actress Maddie Ziegler as a nonverbal girl on the spectrum.
It was also in the running for a Razzie for worst picture, but that gong went to Absolute Proof, MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell's film claiming a Chinese cyberattack "flipped" the 2020 election from Donald Trump to President Joe Biden.
Tom Hooper's deeply creepy film adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cats was the big winner at last year’s Razzies with six dishonors, including worst picture, supporting actor (James Corden) and supporting actress (Rebel Wilson).
