Sing Street stars Jack Reynor and Lucy Boynton have reunited with the film's writer-director John Carney for the second season of his Amazon anthology series Modern Love, with Dublin one of the locations and Brooklyn's John Crowley joining Carney as one of the directors.
Details of the second season were announced on Monday. The cast also includes Gbenga Akinnagbe (The Wire), Minnie Driver (Good Will Hunting), Dominique Fishback (The Deuce), Kit Harington (Game of Thrones), Garrett Hedlund (Mudbound), Anna Paquin (True Blood), Miranda Richardson (The Crying Game) and Irish actor Don Wycherley (Carney's Bachelors Walk).
The series - inspired by the New York Times column of the same name - will premiere on Amazon Prime around the world later this year. Season two was also filmed in New York City and State.
"We're so excited to bring a second season of this series to life, and give an opportunity to really shine a light on what matters most," said series writer-showrunner Carney.
"With so much uncertainty in our current world, these stories bring truth and love to people everywhere, and I'm so appreciative to be a part of making that happen."
