Irish actress Jessie Buckley is reportedly set to star in Alex Garland's eagerly awaited new sci-fi movie Men.
The 31-year-old Kerry-born star is attached to appear in the upcoming project, which will be directed by Alex Garland, who is known for his work on the popular TV series Devs and 2018's Annihilation starring Natalie Portman.
According to Variety, Buckley is being eyed to play a young woman who takes a solo holiday to the English countryside following the death of her ex-husband, set to be played by Rory Kinnear.
Garland has penned the script for the project, which is being financed and distributed by A24, while his regular collaborator Scott Rudin will produce the project alongside Eli Bush, Andrew MacDonald and Allon Reich.
It was recently reported that IFTA-winning Buckley will feature in a new version of Romeo and Juliet for television.
