After three seasons of tripping the light fantastic at Ardmore Studios on RTÉ show Dancing With The Stars, Love Island finalist Curtis Pritchard has revealed he has danced his last tango in Bray.

The 23-year-old has performed on the hit show since 2016 but put his dance career on hold when he took part in the ITV dating series Love Island in Mallorca.

"I was part of Dancing with the Stars for three years," he told RSVP Magazine. "The show was a massive part of my life and I loved every single minute of it.

"It was a massive journey for me but I am not a part of it anymore."

Curtis didn't elaborate on why he's quit the DWTS dancefloor but speculation suggests that it may be because of the work offers coming his way since he departed the Love Island villa in fourth place with fan favourite Maura Higgins.

He has been confirmed for a role on BBC One's The Greatest Dancer and says that he'll be welcoming hopefuls to studio when auditions for the reality series get under way.

He also recently made an appearance on RuPaul's Drag Race UK and will also be taking to the stage this Christmas as the lead role in a production of Dick Whittington in Buckinghamshire.

Dancing With the Stars is back on RTÉ One this January and Love Island returns in winter 2020 on ITV2.
