Bohemian Rhapsody and Sing Street star Lucy Boynton has been linked to the lead role of Marianne Faithfull in a new biopic of the iconic English singer.
US entertainment trade website Deadline, quoting unnamed sources, reports that Boynton is in talks to star in and executive produce the film.
Production is likely to begin next summer, it says.
Faithfull found fame in the 1960s with her hit As Tears Go By and subsequently struggled with personal problems before making a stunning comeback with the 1979 album Broken English. Her most recent album, Negative Capability, was released last year.
Boynton, who played Mary Austin in Bohemian Rhapsody, can currently be seen in the Netflix series The Politician.
