Longford Love Island star Maura Higgins has reportedly landed an ITV2 reality show without boyfriend Curtis Pritchard.

The couple came fourth in the last run of the reality series, and straight-talking Higgins was considered one of the breakout stars of the show.

According to The Sun, the Irish model has now landed her own ITV2 show without professional dancer Pritchard.

A source told the tabloid, "She is great on screen so bosses want to create a platform where viewers can still get their fix.

"While her and Curtis are still together, no-one really knows what the future holds for them as a couple so producers are focusing on Maura.

"They are ironing out details at the moment.

"She has ratings-winner potential, they just have to settle on the right tone."

The Sun reports that network bosses decided not to do spin-off reality shows with the Love Island couples this year because relationships have previously hit the rocks during filming.

Higgins has already bagged herself a role on This Morning

She recently said that when Love Island ended she was stunned to discover how popular she was.

"I honestly couldn't believe it - I was in shock," she told Grazia magazine. "Because I'm so opinionated, I was like, 'I'm going to come out to so much hate'."

But she added: "Do you know what? I don't actually care what people think of me, so I wasn't really bothered."
