Love Island's Irish contestant Maura Higgins has delivered an ultimatum ahead of Thursday night's recoupling and dumping on the ITV reality show.

The Longford woman has said she will leave the villa if romance interest Curtis Pritchard decides to get to know new contestant Francesca Allen.

A teaser clip for Thursday's show sees Maura asking Curtis about his date with the new arrival.

"She seemed a lovely young lady," he replies. "It was nice to get to know her. Is anything going to come of it? I don't know. I mean, I quite like talking to you."

"Are you going to get to know her?" presses Maura.

"I don't know," says Curtis. "I don't want to lie to you."

"Are you going to get to know her?"

Later, Maura warns: "If I choose him to couple up with and he still gets to know her I swear to God I will pack my bags."

Love Island earlier announced that there would be recoupling, and dumping, on Thursday night's show.

Recent arrival Ovie Soko received a text, which read: "Islanders. Tonight, there will a recoupling in which the girls will decide who they want to couple up with.

"The boy not picked to be in a couple will be dumped from the Island."

The moment of truth...

Fans can find out who will be packing their bags on Virgin Media Two and ITV2 from 9:00pm.

It has been confirmed that the current season of the reality series will finish on Monday, July 29.
