Kit Harington had a very emotional reaction during the last table read for Game of Thrones' shocking finale episode.
WARNING: Spoiler alert for the final episode of Game of Thrones!
HBO's behind-the-scenes documentary The Last Watch features footage that shows the cast's unguarded reactions to the shocking moment in the final episode when Harington's character Jon Snow stabs his lover/aunt Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) through the heart.
As the scene description is being read out, Harington stares at the page, puts his head in his hands and looks utterly shocked, before pushing his chair away from the table.

He looks across at his co-star Emilia Clarke who gives him a knowing smile and sinks comically into her chair.
It's clearly an emotional moment for them both, particularly Harington who looks visibly teary at the outcome.

Fans have been divided over the controversial conclusion to the long-running series, with many thousands signing for a petition to remake season eight.
Meanwhile, ex-Thrones star Charles Dance said he was "confused" by the final series of the hit fantasy drama.
