It is reported that Bohemian Rhapsody's Oscar-winning star Rami Malek is closing a deal to play the villain in the next James Bond film.
Malek's name has been linked with the 007 adventure for some time, but US entertainment trade website Deadline claims the deal is almost done. News of Malek's discussions about the villain role were first reported by Variety.
The 25th James Bond film - Daniel Craig's 007 swansong - is due for release on April 8, 2020.
The film is due to begin shooting in Pinewood Studios near London this month.
