Missy Keating's mother has taken to social media to praise her daughter's audition with The Voice UK. Former model and ex-wife of Ronan Keating praised her bravery.

Missy, 17, and her friend Georgia Gaffney who call themselves GGMK sang Cee-Lo Green's Forget You on The Voice UK this weekend.

Posting on Instagram her mother said: "So they didn’t get through but so proud of my daughter @missyykeating and @georgiagaffney who were brave enough to put themselves out there on @thevoiceuk ," the mother of three said.

"I think she will ultimately always go back to acting," she continued. "I think singing is something she enjoys.

So did I encourage her? Yeah. I was like, follow your dreams, but I have a funny feeling when she does her Leaving Cert, she will go back to acting." her mum said.
