Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger are reportedly eager to tie the knot as soon as possible.
The 39-year-old actor and 29-year-old author announced their engagement earlier this month and according to a source close to the couple, the pair don't want to waste any time.
The insider told E! News: ''It will not be a long engagement.''
The source added that Pratt instantly felt welcomed by his partner's parents - Arnold Schwarzenegger and journalist Maria Shriver- ''instantly'' felt like a member of the family.
''For someone on the outside, it might seem their engagement came too quickly. But for everyone close to them, it feels like they have been dating much longer than they actually have.
''They never had a typical relationship. It very much helped that Chris already knew Maria. They didn't have to take things slowly because they were getting to know each other's families. Katherine's family instantly treated Chris like a family member".
The Guardians of the Galaxy star recently took to Instagram to say how "thrilled" he is to be marrying Schwarzenegger, posting a picture of them embracing which showed off her diamond engagement ring.
He wrote in the caption: "Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I'm thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!"

Pratt included ring, prayer and love heart emojis with the message.
Schwarzenegger later shared the same picture with the caption: "My sweet love. Wouldn't want to live this life with anyone but you."
Among those congratulating the couple was Faris, who wrote: "I'm so happy for you both!! Congratulations!"
Pratt announced he was splitting from Faris, his wife of almost eight years, in August 2017.
Their divorce was finalised in October last year. The couple have a six-year-old son, Jack.
