Anna Faris has revealed that she offered to officiate her ex-husband Chris Pratt's wedding to Katherine Schwarzenegger.
The Guardians of the Galaxy star popped the questions to author Schwarzenegger on Sunday, and Faris later congratulated the couple on the happy news.
The actress has now spoken about how her ex-husband broke the news of his engagement to her.
Speaking on her Anna Faris Is Unqualified podcast, she said: "Chris texted me this morning and he was like, you know, 'I proposed to Katherine last night'. I was like 'Ah! That's amazing'.
"And I texted him back, 'Just want to remind you, I'm an ordained minister'."
The 42-year-old Scary Movie star joked that she is "not very good" at officiating weddings.
Faris said she knew "sweet Chris" was ready to propose, adding: "I love her, and I love him, and I'm just so happy that they found each other."
Thirty-nine-year-old Pratt confirmed his romance with 29-year-old Schwarzenegger in December.
Earlier this week, he took to Instagram to announce their engagement after less than a year of dating, saying how "thrilled" he is to be marrying the author, posting a picture of of the couple embracing which showed off her diamond engagement ring.
He wrote in the caption: "Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I'm thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!"

Schwarzenegger, who is the eldest daughter of actor-turned-politician Arnold Schwarzenegger and broadcast journalist Maria Shriver, started dating Pratt last year after his split from Faris.
Faris and Pratt were previously married for nine years and have a son, six-year-old Jack.
Their divorce was finalised in October last year.
