The Dancing with the Stars ladies have said they are "raring to go" after the male celebrities strutted their stuff on the dancefloor on RTÉ One last Sunday.

Sunday's show will see the ladies - Holly Carpenter, Cliona Hagan, Demi Isaac Oviawe, Clelia Murphy, Eilish O'Carroll and Mairéad Ronan - taking to the floor for their first individual dances.

"The boys did amazingly well"

Speaking on RTÉ One's Can't Stop Dancing on Friday night, actress Clelia Murphy told host Bláthnaid Treacy: "I think the boys set a very high standard."

"Johnny Ward, he just flew through it," The Young Offenders star Demi Isaac Oviawe said. "There's just no words to describe him."

Johnny Ward and Emily Barker were a huge hit with the ladies

"The boys did amazingly well," said Mrs Brown's Boys star Eilish O'Carroll. "And that's very encouraging for us. They really stood up to the mark - and I think we can do it."

You can find out if all that training has paid off on Dancing with the Stars on Sunday on RTÉ One at 6:30pm.
