Camila Cabello has spoken about her relationship with British dating expert Matthew Hussey for the first time, saying he makes her "the happiest I've ever been in my life".
The singer-songwriter met the 31-year-old Essex-born dating coach and YouTube personality on the set of the Today Show and they have reportedly been dating since February.
In an interview with Marie Claire magazine, Cabello said she is in love with Hussey and that they share a lot of similarities.
"He's so similar to me," she said. "In person, we're just weird and silly and stupid together. He makes me the happiest I've ever been in my life."
The 21-year-old Cuban-American star said she gets butterflies when he watches her perform.
"Any time he's there, I get super nervous. I stutter or my hands are shaky," she said.
This is the first time the Havana hitmaker has discussed her boyfriend in public.
"It's annoying, because we've been together for kind of like a long time now, but every time, I'm like, 'Oh my God, I have to talk now'," she told the magazine.
Cabello rose to fame on the US version of The X Factor in 2012 as part of the girl group Fifth Harmony. She went solo in December 2016 and impressed with her debut album, Camila, which contained the hit singles Never Be The Same and Havana.
The singer, who won both Artist of the Year and Video of the Year at the MTV Video Music Awards in the US and Europe, said her onstage persona is different to who she is every day.
She said: "Basically, there's the me that I really am, on the inside, which is the nerdy one - the kind of introverted, shy one - and then there's the sexy, overly confident one, doing great dance moves and being super sassy."
