Hozier took a break from his US tour to perform a spine-tingling rendition of his single Nina Cried Power alongside soul legend Mavis Staples on The Ellen Show on Tuesday.
The Wicklow native took to Twitter to say it was "a pleasure" to perform the track with the "amazing" Staples while sharing a clip from the show.

The Take Me To Church star previously said Nina Cried Power was inspired by the "spirit of protest" embodied by artists and musicians such as Nina Simone and Bob Dylan.
