Hozier returned to the fray earlier this week with a series of low-key live shows in Dublin - to call them the hottest ticket in town would be a serious understatement.
Now he's released the Nina Cries Power EP, a taster for his new album, due early in 2019.
Anyone wondering if following the phenomenal success of Take Me To Church and his eponymous debut LP might prove a challenge to Andrew Hozier-Byrne should give Nina Cries Power a spin immediately, and repeatedly. It's an absolute stunner.

"[Nina Cried Power] is best looked at as a little bit of a sampler, four corners of the world the album populates," he told Billboard. "That’s how I kind of picture it in my head. Every song is standing around the same awful bonfire [of the world]. Some of them are optimistic; some of them are terrified; some of them are really looking forward to just burning within it."
The Nina Cried Power EP by Hozier is out now.
